Orient warranty

If your ORIENT WATCH experiences a failure under normal use and service resulting from any defects in material or workmanship it will be repaired and/or adjusted at no extra charge for a period of one year from the original purchase date. Should a failure or other problem occur, the watch, together with the guarantee booklet, will need to be provided to the original point of purchase or an authorised member of the ORIENT Service Network.

The guarantee is voided in the following cases:

  1. Failure resulting from misuse or carelessness.
  2. Failure caused by fire, earthquake, and other disasters.
  3. Failure resulting from an improper repair and modification.
  4. The guarantee booklet is not submitted with the watch to be repaired or the information listed on it is incorrect or invalid.

The watch glass, bracelet/strap, and cell battery are not covered under the terms of this warranty. During repair, the case, dial plate, hands, glass, and bracelet/strap may be replaced with equivalent parts.

Please note that repair costs may be charged in cases where the information for the authorized distributor or place of purchase or both is missing or incomplete, even for products submitted within the valid guarantee period that would normally be covered by the terms of the warranty.

Orient Star warranty

If your ORIENT STAR WATCH has a failure caused by any defect in material or workmanship-under normal use and service, it will be repaired and/or adjusted at no charge for a period of two (2) years from the original purchase date. Should a failure or other problem occur, the watch, together with the guarantee booklet, will need to be provided to the original point of purchase or an authorised member of the ORIENT Service Network.

The guarantee is voided in the following cases:

  1. Malfunction caused by improper use or malfunction or damage caused by carelessness.
  2. Malfunction or damage caused by fire, flood, earthquake or other natural disaster.
  3. Malfunction or damage caused by improper repair or modification by.
  4. Malfunction or damage caused by repairs services not performed the shop of purchase or the ORIENT Service Center.
  5. Changes to the external appearance from everyday use (such as scratches on or discoloration of the case, glass, crown, bracelet strap).
  6. Guarantee is not presented.
  7. Warranty does not have the shop's seal or stamp, date of purchase written, or is otherwise incomplete or details have been altered.

The internal mechanism and exterior parts (case, dial, hands, crown) are
covered by the guarantee. Any other parts are not covered.

Important notices

  1. The case, dial, hands, glass and crown may be substituted during repair.
  2. Refer to the instruction manual for information on how long replacement parts are stored and how long repairs are possible. Replacement parts are stored for 7 years after the end of production.
  3. The guarantee booklet will not be reissued, please keep it safe place.
  4. The terms listed above is purposed for free guarantee service only that has no intention to restrict your legal rights.
